In Zhytomyr region the owners of land shares have received almost half a billion hryvnia rent
In Zhytomyr region for 9 months of 2016, the tenants paid the owners of land shares 480,1 mln hryvnia for the use of the land. Of this amount, 56.2 percent is the payment of rent in kind (agricultural products), 43% - cash payments. A small part of the payoff is in the form of a developmental – 0,8%. The average size of the annual rent compared to the previous year increased by 266 UAH and amounted to 1 054,1 hryvnia per hectare. The amount of rent for the use of land varies by region. The highest annual rental value of land in the Lubarsky district – 2 054,9 UAH per hectare, the lowest in Emilchinsky – 193,2 UAH per hectare. In the area of business entities entered into with owners of land shares amounted to 197.6 thousand contracts. The owners of the leased land plots with a total area of 549,4 thousand hectares, accounting for 49.9% of the area raspaevannyh lands. The vast number of operating lease agreements is a medium – term contracts with a duration of 8-10 years.
