In Zhytomyr oblast Law concerning the settlement of pensions of members of ATU

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning pension provision of certain categories of persons from among participants of the antiterrorist operation". The document introduces amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On compulsory state pension insurance" and is entitled to the appointment of old-age pensions after reaching the men 55 years, women 50-55 years of military men, persons officers and enlisted personnel of internal Affairs bodies, who were directly involved in the ATO in the areas of its implementation in the presence of the insurance experience not less of 25 years for men and 20 years for women. The same right given to the combatants who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as part of volunteer units that were included in the armed forces of Ukraine, Ministry of internal Affairs, National guard, and other educated in accordance with the laws of Ukraine of military formations and law enforcement, and military personnel (reservists, liable for military service), persons of ordinary, officers and volunteers, volunteers who have become disabled due to injury, contusion or injury received during participation in the ATO. Wives (husbands) if they did not accept remarriage and the parents of the above-mentioned categories of citizens who died or went missing, died as a result of injury, contusion or injury received during participation in the ATO, ensuring its implementation are also entitled to pension on age.
