Under the chairmanship of the first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko, held a meeting of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the Vinnytsia regional state administration. During the meeting was discussed on strengthening of measures of prevention of African swine fever, contagious nodular dermatitis of cattle and bird flu. Andrew Gyzhko, opening the meeting, said: "Summing up the past year , it should be noted that the cases of African swine fever, which occurred in the Tulchin district, was a time localized (unlike our neighbors – Khmelnytskyi,Odesa oblasts, where there have been repeated manifestations of the disease and mass destruction of animals). we will consider how to prevent not only ASF, but also of lumpy skin disease and bird flu, as these diseases now common in the world and are associated with large economic costs. Therefore, measures to prevent them are a harsh, but justifiable". The head of Demirtzoglou in Vinnytsia region Gregory Sidoruk informed those present about the situation in the world in the spread of African swine fever , contagious nodular dermatitis of cattle and bird flu. He also outlined a number of preventive measures that must be implemented in the field to prevent the entry of pathogens of these diseases. After hearing all the speakers and discussing the issues of the agenda of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the regional state administration decided: 1. Take note of the information: Sidoruk G. P. – the head of Demirtzoglou in Vinnytsia region, about the epizootic situation of African swine fever (hereinafter, ASF), highly pathogenic avian influenza poultry, contagious nodular dermatitis of cattle. Cooper, A. A. – chief of Vinnytsia regional management of forest and hunting economy, the implementation of measures on preventing introduction of the virus of African swine fever in the hunting forestry region and conducted work on bringing up to the optimum number of wild boars in hunting grounds. Terenteva Yu. V. – Deputy head of emergency response Chief administration of state service of Ukraine on emergency situations in Vinnytsia region, about the availability of forces and means to carry out liquidation activities in the event of especially dangerous diseases of animals and poultry. 2. Pursuant to the Decision of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 6 December 2016 (minutes No. 2) to take measures to ensure adequate funding in the 2017 state institutions of veterinary medicine within the need for the effective conduct of anti-epizootic measures. The decision included a paragraph on the establishment of material reserves for the units of the SSES emergency deployment and the operation conditions of the quarantine veterinary and police posts, the implementation of measures for liquidation of especially dangerous diseases (kung, dezbarery, clothing, fuel and lubricants, wood, warning signs, etc.).
