Consideration of requests of citizens and organization of their reception remains one of the important directions of activity of prosecution bodies aimed at effective protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, strengthening the rule of law. It should be noted that despite the change of authorities of the Prosecutor's office, in connection with the entry into force of the law of Ukraine "On the procuracy" and "On amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on justice," most people who come to the Prosecutor's office continue to claim to protect or restore their rights in not authorized on this subject of legal relations. In such cases, prosecutors are provided reasonable explanations about treatment of citizens for protection of their rights in court, bodies of free legal aid, relevant control authorities and the like.
