In Zhytomyr region Pavlo Rozenko instructed to immediately respond to complaints regarding the failure of the Government's decisions to raise the minimum wage to RS 3200

In each area should be established an interdepartmental working group for monitoring the implementation of the Government's decision to raise the minimum wage from 1 January 2017 up to 3200 UAH and immediate response to complaints of citizens about violation by managers of the enterprises of their labour rights. On this January 10 during a meeting of the Interdepartmental working group on ensuring implementation of the decisions directed on increase of level of wages and compliance with legislation regarding the minimum wage, said Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Chairman of the Interagency working group Paul Rozenko. — "We are facing a very clear task – to the Government's decision to raise the minimum wage to UAH 3200 was fully implemented. This is not to prevent any manipulation, particularly heads of budgetary institutions, the transfer of people in part-time or, God forbid, shrink. Because the funds needed to Finance the public sector, in full incorporated in the State budget for 2017", - he said. Pavlo Rozenko appealed to the representatives of trade unions and employers together with Government to ensure the implementation of relevant decisions and in the private sector of the economy. "In the private sector we are working with unions and employers to take control of the situation. Minimum wage worker may not be lower than 3200 UAH for each enterprise", - he stressed. Pavlo Rozenko instructed to form a similar government interagency working groups in each area. "A similar interagency working groups should be established at the level of each region. A working group should be headed by a person on a position not below the level of Deputy head of regional state administration. Representatives of education, health, culture, social sphere and territorial divisions of the Pension Fund, tax, Public service labour should be included there for sure," said he. According to the Vice-Prime Minister, the aim of these regional working groups is the instant response to any complaint concerning heads of the enterprises that do not comply with the Government's decision to raise the minimum wage. "Where is the rule where someone wants to manipulate, translate people for incomplete bids, we will have the information and this information will be a harsh reaction.
