In Ternopil students-immigrants and children of ATO soldiers will receive the social allowance
From January 1, 2017, the social security will pay social grants to certain categories of students, including immigrants and children of combatants. It is reported by the Director of the Department of social protection of regional state administration Vadim Boyarsky. This scholarship is designed according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "Some issues of payment of social grants to students (cadets) non-military public higher education institutions". "Order defined by a clear list of documents that will give educational institutions to include information in the Unified state automated register of persons entitled to benefits in respect of students eligible for social scholarships", — says Vadim Boyarsky. Social grants will receive the following categories of students: - children-orphans and children deprived of parental care; - persons who have suffered owing to Chernobyl accident; - miners who have relevant experience of underground work became invalids I or II groups and their children, and children of miners who died due to an accident at work; - persons who are recognized as combatants and their children; children one of whose parents was killed (missing) in the area of anti-terrorist operations, military actions or armed conflicts; children one of whose parents was killed during mass public protests; - children who are internally displaced.
