In the Vinnytsia region government programme on energy efficiency acts and even during the new year holidays condominiums have already attracted more than 400 thousand UAH for heat insulation of houses
Despite the winter holidays and the beginning of the new fiscal year, the government's efficiency programme continues to operate successfully and to help the Ukrainians to insulate their homes. So, from 3 to 6 January 2017, another 5 condominiums were weatherized their own homes and become participants of the "warm" loans, attracting 416 thousand UAH for the purchase of various materials and equipment for implementation of energy efficiency measures in their apartment buildings. As you can see, the results of weekly monitoring of the program indicate that despite the winter cold, the holidays and other factors, the population does not stop on the way to insulate their own homes. This gives reason to believe that the program was not just financial assistance for energy efficiency measures, and a real incentive to think about energy efficiency, to change behavior and habits in energy saving and to take the necessary steps to consume less energy to save more money family budget and live in comfort. So, in 2016, condominiums 435 implemented projects to improve energy efficiency in high-rise buildings, which is 2.2 times more than in 2015. Condominiums participating in the program have the opportunity to receive from the state budget at least 40% of the payment of funds for equipment and materials for the insulation of the house. If condominiums grantees, they are guaranteed to receive increased reimbursement – 70%. In addition to state aid, a condominium can count on an additional payment of interest or the amount of the loan from local government. In some regions and cities the amount of compensation from the local budgets varies from 20% to 50%. This means that in some regions the total amount of compensation the amount of funds raised for the modernization of high-rise buildings, can make 70% or more. In addition, additional advantages of the program is the lack of corruption risks: eliminated the need to contact with the officials and there is no possibility of artificially inflating the cost of the energy efficient products program participants.
