The leaders of the region at a joint meeting in the Prosecutor's office discussed ways of efficiency of fight against illegal production of amber

Therefore, as noted by the head of the regional Prosecutor's office, while at the legislative level is not legalized such activity, law enforcement agencies need to influence the situation that has developed, to prevent it from deteriorating. Participation in chromo the event was attended by the chief of the Department of the National police in the Rivne oblast Valery Prysiazhniuk, head of the Main Directorate of the State fiscal service in the Rovno area Dmitry Zajtsev, the Deputy chief of Rivne customs State fiscal service of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk, first Deputy head of the Lutsk border detachment Ivan Yablonsky, head of ABCOP USB of Ukraine in the Rivne region, Yuriy Ilchenko, head of the Rivne regional management of forest and hunting economy Vladimir Griciuc, Deputy head of the State ecological inspection in Rivne region Sergey Pashkovskiy. Among the invited guests were the Deputy Chairman of the Rivne regional state administration Igor Timoshenko, the Deputy commander of troops of expeditious command "West" Oleg Gerasimuk, as well as heads of local prosecutors, chiefs of departments of these Prosecutor's offices, representatives of the interdepartmental working group on combating illegal production of amber. The meeting noted that, despite last year's action illegal amber mining in the region continues. Often it is accompanied by active counteraction to militiamen from the local residents, conflicts between the population with a deadly weapon. But this situation does not contribute to the stabilization of the state of legality in the region. Therefore, before the assembled participants stood in the most pressing issue is to agree on additional urgent measures with the aim of solving complex problems in the field of illegal production and illegal operations further with amber. The results of the law enforcement agencies on combating illegal fishing amber in the Northern areas of the region informed the Deputy Prosecutor of the Rivne region Miroslav Patskan. In the Rivne region in 2016, was investigated over five hundred of criminal proceedings on the facts of illegal extraction of raw amber. The courts considered 27 indictments against 35 individuals were convicted. Seized nearly 1.5 tons of amber, over 200 motor pumps and other equipment and 90 vehicles. But, according to Miroslav Patskan, this work would be more effective, as the local authorities did not occupy a contemplative stance, and contributed to law enforcement. Also greater efficiency in countering illegal production of amber, the leadership of the regional Prosecutor's office demanded from all the law enforcement agencies, in particular with regard to the exposure of organized crime groups, including corruption communications, a suppression of the facts of smuggling "sun" of the stone. Their vision in effective communication and in addressing the problems voiced by the heads of all law enforcement and regulatory agencies. Taking into account the suggestions, the meeting identified a number of joint concerted action for the revitalization on the direction and a real impact on the state of law in the region.
