Chernigov: Project proposal for the construction of the Memorial to the Defenders of Ukraine will be accepted until February 15
the Executive Committee of the city Council, by its decision extended the deadline for project proposals for an open architectural competition for construction of the Memorial to the Defenders of Ukraine. The deadline for submitting projects (draft proposals) set on 15 February. The same decision of the Executive Committee the Chairman of the jury of the competition determined by the profile Deputy of the Chernihiv city mayor. In the course of this discussion, the head of the Department of architecture and urban planning of the city Council Sergey Kalyuzhny informed the members of the Executive Committee that this competition has already received 10 of the author's proposals. However, it has received a number of requests from authors and authors ' groups that work on their own projects and wishing to take part in the contest, but do not have time to do it in a pre-defined period of time. The competition is held to determine the best proposals and the best executor of the project for the construction of a Memorial to perpetuate the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and the lost participants of anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine. As previously reported, the competition is open, without limitation of participants, participation in the contest is free. The number of competitive project proposals from one of the author (- author) is also not limited. Financing of competition is carried out at the expense of the city budget. The customer of the competition is the Executive Committee of the Chernihiv city Council, and the organizer of competition – Department of architecture and urban planning of the Chernihiv city Council.
