Despite the beginning of the new year, condominiums continue to consciously and actively raise funds for activities aimed at improving energy efficiency in their homes. So, from 1 to 23 Jan, there is growing demand of condominiums on Government efficiency program. "If the first and second week of January, participants of the program became 5 condominium, then the period from 16 to 23 January – an additional 9 condominium. Holidays, weather conditions didn't scare the citizens. This means only one thing – people serious about a Government program, is aware of the benefits and consequences of implementation of energy efficient measures that have a positive impact on reducing the municipal payroll and increase comfort in the apartments", – said the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk data of weekly monitoring of the Government programme on energy efficiency. Sergey Savchuk also predicted a much greater demand for the program among condominiums in 2017 than in previous years. "Only three weeks Jan 19 condominiums have already joined the program and drew on energy efficiency measures more than 1,1 million UAH, which is one and a half times more than for the whole of January-2016", - said the Chairman of the Agency "Despite the rapid growth of the popularity of the program among the condominiums in the autumn of last year and the positive dynamics of demand in early 2017, can make the logical conclusion: the program of financial assistance will get even more supporters than last year". Overall, since the beginning of the program the participants were 648 condominiums, which have attracted more than UAH 78.6 mln. on winterizing their homes. S. Savchuk also reminded that last week the Government Committee has already approved the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine concerning the continuation of the program this year.
