Rescuers told citizens about the rules of fire safety at operation of furnaces,electroball appliances and gas equipment
In winter rescuers gschs record a sharp increase in the number of fires in the residential sector, which often lead to tragic consequences. Since the beginning of the year the fires have killed 171 people and killed 100. In particular, in Chernivtsi region there were 56 fire and killed 10 people. To prevent the occurrence of fires and emergency situations because of violations of fire safety rules in everyday life and in the framework of "Saving homes from wildfires," the rescuers Chernivtsi city Department jointly with representatives of OOO "center Region" conducted preventive RAID in the private residential sector of the city. During the interviews of the rescuers told citizens the basic rules of fire safety at operation of furnaces, electroball appliances and gas equipment. Specialists gschs of Ukraine noted that it is impossible to keep furnaces that burn unattended, and make use of furnaces with cracks and other damage. It is forbidden to dry on furnaces or electrovac clothing or other materials. Also to the negative consequences that can result from furnaces ignition of flammable and combustible liquids. It is not necessary to include simultaneously many appliances into an extension cord, because the grid could not withstand the overload – short circuit in the wiring, in turn, could trigger a fire.
