Chernivtsi: the Park "October" was renamed to the Park of the reformation
Chernivtsi city Council supported the e-petition of citizens and a majority vote decided to rename the Park "October" Park of the reformation. 255 citizens who have supported the e-petition, proposed to the deputies to rename the Park "October" in the Park of the reformation, continuing the work of the Council and for the execution of the presidential decree of Ukraine from 26.08.2016 No. 357/2016 "On the celebration in Ukraine of the 500th anniversary of the reformation". The author of the petition Nikolay Gunko believes that "this title combines European aspirations of Chernivtsi in the way of implementation of reforms in building civil society and will enhance the authority of biblical principles, it is extremely important to improve the level of spirituality and morality, especially among children and youth". A petition supported by 25 deputies Chernivtsi city Council.
