In the Ternopil region, the government once again took care of the revolution of dignity
the Government approved a draft law on additional social protection of participants of Revolution of dignity. It was developed in response to one of the orders of the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman at the meeting with the initiative group of victims on the Maidan, reports the Department of information and communication of the Secretariat of the Cabinet. And here on 18 January, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection", developed by the Ministry of social policy, which in particular provides for the provision of Maidan protesters of the status of combatants. The bill provides a definition of such a status for the protesters who received injuries which did not lead to disability. The citizens who became disabled due to wounds during anti-terrorist operation, will be able to obtain the status of a war invalid.
