In Lutsk hosted the celebration of day of Conciliarity of Ukraine
22 January marks the Day of unity of Ukraine. On this occasion, our city hosted events. They started with laying flowers to the monument to the fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine, Chairman of the Ukrainian Central Rada of UNR Hrushevsky, memorable characters, General Almazova flyers and UNR. City mayor Mykola Romaniuk took part in laying flowers at the monument to the fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine on the Kiev square. In the regional academic Ukrainian music and drama theatre named after Taras Shevchenko was held a theatrical, artistic performance, dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the proclamation of the Act of unification of the UNR and ZUNR, which showed the main historical landmarks of Ukraine on the path to statehood. The ceremony was attended by city mayor Mykola Romaniuk, Deputy Andrew Kish, the first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Alexander Stepantsov, representatives of local authorities, clergy and community of the city. The celebration began with a joint performance of the Anthem of Ukraine. Also these days in library institutions of the city organized a thematic exhibition of literature, which will cover historical events associated with the struggle of the Ukrainian people for statehood will be held conferences, literary readings, watch on the Day of unity of Ukraine.
