Opening of the exhibition of archival documents devoted to Day of unity of Ukraine

19 January in the reading room of the library-branch ¹ 3, the archival Department in conjunction with the library, opened the exhibition of archival documents devoted to the Day of unification of Ukraine under the title: "Guardian of our nationhood". Unity day — a holiday in Ukraine, celebrated every year on January 22 the day of the proclamation of the act of reunification Ukrainian people's Republic and Western Ukrainian people's Republic that took place in 1919. The Dnieper, post-Russian, and Western Ukraine — from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and reunited on their land into a single Ukrainian state. Officially in Ukraine Unity Day is celebrated since 1999. The exhibition includes copies of documents from funds of State archive of Volyn region for the years 1924-1992 and articles on issues of the formation of the unity of Ukraine, archival documents on the history of luck, selection of books and interesting publications on Ukrainian history and present.
