How to use the Sun's energy was studied by the delegation of Ternopil region in Poland

switching to alternative sources of energy, including the use of solar energy is a promising direction that will ensure Ukraine's energy freedom. We in the region have already undertaken several steps in this direction and we are looking for more effective model – the experience of Polish colleagues in this will be useful. This was said Stepan Barna, Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration, while in Rzeszow, Poland, where in these days is X Forum Europe-Ukraine. As reported by the members of the delegation from Ternopil region, in the framework of their visit was acquaintance with the work of photovoltaic station in Rzeszow, the main principle of which consists in the processing of solar energy into electrical energy. "Given the findings of experts that the Ternopil oblast almost 70% can replace natural gas consumption with alternative energy sources as we move forward in this direction. We use the transition to solid fuel, but must remember that nature gives us additional opportunities. How to use them effectively and efficiently – the question is one of priorities for the strategic development of our region", - said Stepan Barna. As you know, with the aim of introducing systems of solar power plants in Ternopil region identified 4 objects of budgetary sphere on which it is planned to implement a pilot project to introduce solar water heating systems. This, in particular: Petrikov regional municipal geriatric; Terebovlia oblast municipal psychoneurological; Bilche-Zolotinka regional physiotherapy hospital rehabilitation; Mykulynetske regional physiotherapy hospital for rehabilitation. Currently, we are estimating the capacity of solar collectors for heating hot water in these institutions. In addition, to ensure the production of electricity from renewable energy sources in Podgaetsky and Shumsky areas, developed projects for the construction of solar photovoltaic power plants. These projects are presented for participation in the joint with the European investment Bank the project "Program of development of municipal infrastructure of Ukraine". Projects were selected in Minregionstroy and submitted to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for examination. This was reported in the Ternopil regional state administration
