Dear citizens, the Ukrainians! we honor the memory of ' memory of the heroes of Kruty. On this day in 1918, the Ukrainian cadets, students and schoolboys were killed at a railway station Cool in a clash with the army of the Bolsheviks. Ukrainian heroes were confronted in battle with the Bolsheviks for almost n’five hours, despite the fact that the number of cadets and “Free Cossacks" was ten times less than the composition of the Bolshevik army. The fight of Ukrainian soldiers against the Bolshevik army in the station of Kruty was detained by the enemy for four days. Therefore, the volunteers saved the capital for the time needed for the conclusion of the Brest-Litovsk peace, which is actually meant international recognition of Ukrainian independence. Indeed, in the Brest delegation Bolshevik Russia has prepared an appeal that Kiev is in the hands of the Communists and no UNR does not exist. So the battle of Kruty was not only of symbolic importance but also of great historical value, which almost do not remember. Moreover, the feat of the heroes of Kruty became a role model for modern heroes. As in 1918, Ukrainian volunteers, without proper arms, first to defend Ukraine, stop Russian aggressor. Heroes of defense of the Donetsk and Luhansk airports, brandishing Sands, Mar’NCI, Stanytsia Luhanska was brought up by the example of valor of the heroes of Kruty.
