About 60 million UAH has been saved by the Zhytomyr region, after the modernization of boiler houses in 2016
Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich stresses the need for energy efficiency measures and in 2017. Separately underlines the fact that in 2017, all public establishments must undergo an energy audit. The Chairman yeah noted on 31 January, during hardware meeting with heads of departments. "The Zhytomyr region is among five leaders in the implementation of energy efficiency and performance of boiler transferred to an alternative and engaging the public in energy saving measures is through the issuance of "warm loans," – said Igor Gundich. Budget savings through implementation of EE measures confirms that the region is moving in the right direction. So, as a result of transfers of 128 of boiler houses to alternative fuels Zhytomyr in 2016 saved 9.4 million cubic meters of gas, respectively, 59,2 million. Also last year, the enterprises of municipal power system modernization of boiler – houses replacement of obsolete boilers, burners, energy-intensive pump, application water treatment, installation of counters of thermal energy, the closure of unprofitable boiler houses – in the amount of 18.3 million, the gas savings is 0.95 million m3.
