According to Vladimir Shamrai, the cancer has a profound social significance. In Ukraine according to statistics today is registered more than 1 million anahory people. Every year the number of cases of the disease increases during the year, registered in the state in nearly 140 new cases of cancer, with more than half of patients — people of working age. In SWA'yazku this this problem is national in nature and relates to national security. The cancer is the cause of death of 15% of Ukrainians, among whom the mortality from cancer ranks second after cardiovascular diseases. "In Vinnytsia oblast and in 2016 it was 5578 cases first diagnosed with cancer. This figure is significantly less than in previous years. Registered at the regional cancer register are 41 thousand 668 people. I want to emphasize that cancer is not Viro and it can be cured. The number of cancer patients in the region decreases . So in 2014 the number was 369,7 100 thousand in 2015 — 364,3, in 2016 - 362,2. The mortality of patients every year in Vinnytsia region also decreases gradually. With funds from the state budget it is planned to purchase modern linear accelerator, needed for radiation treatment of cancer patients. Regional program "Oncology" provides funding for the cancer industry by 2017 in the range of 47 million UAH." - said Vladimir Shamray. As noted by Irina Maciszewski: "I Urge residents of Vinnytsia region in advance to go to the doctors and to undergo medical examinations, do not provide an opportunity to identify existing disease at an early stage. This will give you the opportunity to save a life." This was reported in the Vinnytsia regional state administration
