Sergey Volkov: In Vinnytsia oblast during the year 48 boiler of budgetary sphere of area are transferred to alternative natural gas fuels
During the press conference, which took place on 1 February, the Director of the Department of housing, energy and infrastructure of regional state administration Sergey Volkov noted that through 2016, continued work on the implementation of energy saving measures in housing and utilities sector of the region in accordance with the regional "Program of energy efficiency and reduction of energy consumption in Vinnytsia region for 2010-2016". Sergei Volkov said: "during the year transferred to alternative natural gas fuels the boiler 48 of budgetary sphere of region. Cost of work performed - 30.05 million UAH. Expected savings of natural gas is 2 million m3 per year or 13.8 million UAH in cash. Also implemented other energy saving measures (thermal modernization of buildings, replacement of lighting, installation of heating regulators, etc.) in the amount of 155 million UAH from the budgets of different levels. The reduction in the consumption of fuel and energy resources due to the implementation of these projects amounts to 5 thousand tons of conventional fuel annually."
