Little Volhynia was my chance to be healthy
During the Christmas holidays, managed to collect money for treatment of children with difficult diagnoses. Recall that in the framework of the celebration in Ukraine of the 500th anniversary of the reformation, the Protestant Church began a summer charity marathon. Its purpose is to raise funds to help little Volhynia with disabilities that require surgical intervention. 14 January 2017, the Volyn of the drama theatre named after T. G. Shevchenko hosted the annual charity concert "Christmas star", organized by the churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists. This event was the beginning of a charity marathon. The concert was organized to raise funds for the treatment of 7-year-old Mariana, Cleduc. The child has a complex congenital defect of the spine, which significantly affects the physical development and quality of life in General. The concert organizers reported that the amount raised from ticket sales, in the boxes, and from the Evangelical churches and philanthropists, is 104 632 UAH. They thank you for your sincerity and sacrifice to all who have joined actively in the rescue Mariana, Cleduc. The girl has to be a difficult operation to install a corrective "growing" system for orthopedic treatment of scoliosis. That is for the purchase of this design will be listed funds. Now the operation is being delayed because Ukraine has no such system. Native girls are waiting for response from abroad and ask all concerned to pray for the child. The charity marathon was joined by Belgrade. With the support Manevitskiy district administration, churches of three denominations (seventh-day Adventists, Evangelical Christian Baptists, Christians of Evangelical faith) held a fundraiser with the children of the district who are in difficult life circumstances. In the framework of the marathon over the Christmas holidays in Belgrade and in the Forests the charity concert, which raised money to help their seven children. The forces of Protestant churches and caring people managed to collect UAH 162020. The money is distributed regarding the needs of children. In the presence of representatives of local authorities, social worker and pastors of churches the funds donated to families where there are children.
