The Prosecutor's office sent to court indictment against two persons on the territory of the Vinnytsia region were engaged in illegal logging
Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office is performed procedural management in criminal proceedings on signs of the crime provided by article 246 of the criminal code of Ukraine on the fact of illegal felling of trees in polishing forest lane, located on the territory of one of village councils of the Vinnytsia region. According to the results of activities undertaken, on the basis of the evidence collected pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is completed and the indictment is sent to the Vinnytsia district court of the Vinnytsia region. Pre-trial investigation found that two persons in the period from March to September 2016, using a pre-prepared machinery carried out the illegal felling of trees in polishing forest lane, located on the territory of one of village councils of the Vinnytsia region, causing damage to the state totaling $ 1 million. For the purpose of compensation of damages to property offenders arrested and prepared statements of claim in court. For Commission of the specified criminal offense punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term up to three years.
