About the achievements in the field of education in Vinnytsia region in 2016, the problems and prospects of its development was informed at hardware meeting in the regional state administration first Deputy Director of the Department of education and science of regional state administration Elena Black. She, in particular, noted that in 2016, the network of educational establishments of Vinnytsia region was 1813 , including in the region there are 51 educational institutions of regional subordination. All applicants of education in Vinnytsia region, there are 348,5 thousand (only in secondary schools – 155,05 thousand), and operating in the field of education - 61 thousand. Priority directions of development of education in Vinnytsia region Elena Black call : development of preschoolers; formation of an optimal network of POPS and the development of school districts; ensuring the availability and quality of education; creation of conditions for education of children from displaced families and participants of the ATO, Patriotic education of youth, the development of higher education and the like.
