In Volyn region seized from smugglers plane implement
At the initiative of the Ombudsman of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's office in Volyn region by the investigating judge on 3 February 2017 procedural decision on the transfer of seized from smugglers aircraft for sale and circulation proceeds in state revenue. As previously reported, in the framework of the investigative (search) actions in criminal proceedings on smuggling weapons, historical and cultural values and goods of excisable group of employees of the Prosecutor's office of Volyn region, regional management of SBU and border guards in January and June last year in the forests of Manevychi district was discovered two aircraft “an-2”, which were used for illegal cross-border transportation of cargo of cigarettes of foreign production. Another plane was brought in state revenue by the decision of the investigating judge on 9 November last year.
