Chernivtsi: the Facade on the street Heroes square,24 are arranged using materials that meet the authenticity of the historic environment
At the town Hall under the chairmanship of the Deputy of the mayor Vladimir Seredyuk held a meeting on implementation of works on reconstruction of apartment ¹1 and basement under store of industrial goods on the street Heroes square, 24 with the extension of the existing entrance. The question of reconstruction was reviewed on 16 June 2016 at a meeting of the public Advisory Council for the protection of cultural heritage on the territory of Chernivtsi. Architect Pdorow L. A. proposed to extend the existing entrance to the premises in conjunction with repair and restoration work of the facade, the restoration of the wrought-iron gates and the arrangement of the arched entrance are identical to the existing entrance arch to the volume of the wall. By results of discussion it was decided to support the proposal. However, work began with the extension input does not conform to the proposals which were passed at the meeting of the public Advisory Council and coordination with the Department of cultural heritage of the city Council. Now all approvals are received. Already arranged metal-plastic design of the entrance vestibule close to the facade. Upon completion of the internal works will continue the reconstruction of the facade. According to the chief architect of the city of Natalia Khilko metallo-plastic structure should be dismantled, and the arrangement of the entrance to align with the recommendations of the public Advisory Council and the Department of cultural heritage in part of the complex arrangement of the facade, using building materials appropriate to the authenticity of the historic environment. Therefore, the owner and the authors of the reconstruction project should complete the project according to the results of the discussion. On the implementation of comments and suggestions, they will inform the public and the media on 10 February at 14.00 in the Assembly hall of the city Council.
