8 February 2017, first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko held a Skype conversation with the winner of the regional competition for the best investment project in the field of renewable energy with his Highness Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd Bin ALAW al Saud. During communication Andrew Gyzhko said: "Vinnytsia region is the first project that will be implemented by investors from Saudi Arabia. For the production of solar energy, the region has been working for 9 campaigns that produce it. At present, this investment is quite popular, because the state exists, the so-called "green tariff". That is, to stimulate the process of developing clean energy the government is willing to buy it at a pretty high price." Also communicating with foreign investors Andrei Geico invited the Saudi Prince to visit Ukraine, in particular, Vinnicchina and directly acquainted with the economic potential of the region . "In Vinnytsia region there are enterprises which produce goods for the world. In particular, the Vinnytsia oil and fat plant produces 3% of the oil produced in the world and exports them to 57 countries. Also in the Vinnytsia region there are the largest enterprise for the production of chicken meat. Every day the company sends abroad 3 thousand tons of chicken meat and export the goods in 60 countries. At a sufficiently high level in the field of advanced dairy and sugar industries," said Andrew Gyzhko. In turn, Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd Bin ALAW al Saud noted that their company is also the first step in the development of business in Ukraine. "We see positive prospects for business development in your country. For solar energy, we have a campaign partner that collaborates with us in the energy sector and has a lot of solar energy projects. Built a powerful solar power plant in Morocco. I am convinced that we will be able to implement a project to install solar panels in Vinnytsia region". In conclusion, Adrey Gieco expressed hope for constructive cooperation and positive implementation of the project in Vinnytsia oblast.
