Zhytomyr: the process of optimizing residential institutions is in progress
Zhytomyr regional state administration February 8, regular meeting of the working group on optimization of boarding schools. Participation in the working group was attended by Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Sergey Kramarenko, head of the Department of education and science of regional state administration Vadim Kalinin, Chairman of the regional Council for humanitarian Affairs Olena Galaguza and representatives of the public Council. — — "We, as the working group must find an optimum solution to this question. We study in detail the situation, and therefore must consider all aspects of their operation: the content of institutions, payment of energy carriers, maintenance of children, payment of salaries and other", — said Yaroslav Laguta. According to the order of the Chairman of regional state administration on the establishment of the relevant working group should be established, long-term plan for optimizing residential institutions. Now the working group decides which institutions will be optimized and which are not. Also, the offer of co-financing institutions with the area in which the school is located – if it is 40-50% of children in the area. The next meeting will be to discuss issues of co-financing directly with the heads of the GSS and cities of regional importance.
