The service centers of the Ministry of internal Affairs in Ukraine are beginning to issue the international certificate
on February 9 territorial service centers of the Ministry of interior to get an international driver's license. "International driver's license is a new service from the service centers of the Ministry of interior, which has never previously been available in MREO. To obtain an international driving permit only if you have a national driver's license, a national identity is not withdrawn. By international standards, it looks like a small cardboard book. Thanks it expands the list of countries where citizens will be able to use vehicles, and it is important for citizens, for a long period of time abroad" - explains the head of the main service centre of the Ministry of internal Affairs Vladislav Crickley. Such certification is important for the citizens of Ukraine who work abroad or temporarily living outside of Ukraine, and also who intend to travel by road. Thanks it expands the list of countries where citizens will be able to use vehicles. Obtaining an international driver's license allows to drive vehicles on the territory of those countries which have acceded to the Geneva Convention on road traffic of 1949 – this significantly expands the geography. National driver's license can be used only on the territory of countries that have acceded to the Vienna Convention on road traffic of 1968. International driver's license is issued on the spot, without examination on the basis of a national driver's license, valid for 3 years. The cost of the service will be – 34 UAH 16 kopecks. To get an international driver's license need to refer to the convenient location of the territorial service center of the Ministry of interior, regardless of the place of registration and provide the following documents: * to present to the administrator at the place of original national driver's license; * passport of citizen of Ukraine; * passport of citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad; * the photo size 3,5 x4,5 cm on matte paper.
