Yesterday, February 8, 2017, in Vinnitsa, the first stage of the project "the role of the regions in the functioning of a social legal state". In this stage activities were held, aimed at raising the awareness of communities regarding the use of regional development tools. So, during the roundtable, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the Agency for regional development Vinnytsia region, Vinnytsia regional Association of local authorities and the Department of international cooperation and regional development regional state administration. In addition, the sides discussed the current state of regional policy and strategic planning in the communities of the region. With the aim of best utilization of the acquired skills, the invited experts was held for participants from across the region presentations and workshops, during which was considered the instruments of regional development, the basic principles of the strategic planning process and completion of project applications. The second phase of the project will take place in Zhytomyr on 22 February 2017. The project is implemented by Agency for regional development Vinnytsia region, together with the Zhytomyr regional state administration in partnership with the Regional office of the Foundation.
