Stepan Barna: In the Ternopil region increased financing of the regional organization of the Union of veterans of Afghanistan

This was announced by the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna during a meeting with soldiers-internationalists on 8 February. "In 2016, for implementation of statutory tasks of the Ternopil regional organization of the Ukrainian Union of veterans of Afghanistan has financial support in the amount of 32 000 UAH. This year this amount is increased is 40 000 UAH. In addition, the priority task for us is the support of families of fallen combatants in Afghanistan. In particular, for 2016, provided monthly assistance to the families of the 35 killed in Afghanistan totaling 85 000 UAH." - said Stepan Barna. In addition, according to the head of RSA, provided improper financial assistance to 30 individuals for personal contribution to development of veteran movement and on the occasion of the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States. As noted by the Chairman of the regional organization of USA Sergei Forest, the region is inhabited by more than 2,200 participants of hostilities and people with disabilities who participated in battles on the territory of other States. 69 Afghans Ternopil region took part in the ATO, 6 people involved .
