For the principled position of the Prosecutor of the Volyn oblast court upheld the detention of a driver who made a fatal accident in Knyaginino Lutsk district. At the request of prosecutors Lutsk city district court elected 57-year-old instigator of the accident in the village of Knyaginino a measure of restraint in form of detention for 60 days without possibility of bail. Were also seized the car “Subaru Tribeca” in which he made a deadly hit on the passer. Disagreeing with the decision of the court, the suspect and his counsel filed the appeal in which asks to cancel definition of the investigative judge and apply a less severe preventive measure. Despite the fact that in this position the police officer and the victim, the court of appeal of Volyn region listened to the arguments of the Prosecutor and left a suspect in custody.
