Hundreds of Zhytomyr residents honored the memory of soldiers-internationalists.
The procession and meeting of February 15, in Zhytomyr held a Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States and the 28th anniversary of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. Near the memorable sign "the Black Tulip" brought together hundreds of Zhytomyr residents and guests of the city. Took part in the event, the Chairman of regional Council Vladimir Shirma, Deputy Chairman – head of regional state administration Alexey Lacunarity. Afghanistan veterans remembered their brothers, the heavy realities of war. — Alex Lacunarity said: "this day is to reflect on the value of human life and the grief that always brings war. However, soldiers-Afghans got a unique experience and skills that are useful because many of them are defending Ukraine in the East."
