Chernivtsi: modern dance Ensemble Central cultural Palace “Allegro” has received 6 prizes in all-Ukrainian dance championship “The Challenge”
Six prizes won the contemporary dance ensemble Central cultural Palace “Allegro” in different categories for Ukrainian dance championship “The Challenge”, which was held recently in Kiev. It was attended by about a thousand dancers from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi. Chernivtsi dancers under the leadership of Svetlana Marchak and Marchak Anna-Kishchenko was awarded first prize in the category of Adults, Big Group Rising Modern Jazz (composition “clockwork”), second place in the category of Adults, Big Group Rising Contemporary (composition “purpose”). Participants of the ensemble Svetlana Nastasic and Elena Gaumont won the championship for dance composition “Dawn” in the category of Adults Duo-Trio Rising Contemporary. Younger participants of choreographic Studio won first place in the category “Small Group Rising Juniors”(the dance composition “Sisters”), the second place Juniors Big Group Rising Jazz Modern (dance track “the signs of the Zodiac”) and third place in the category Juniors Big Group Rising Contemporary (dance composition “Path”). Dancer Natalia Nikolaenko took the 4th place in the category Juniors Rising Solo Contemporary among the 18 participants.
