Yesterday, February 15, in the hall of the creative space "Artynov" meeting of the EU delegation to Ukraine with the representatives of civil society institutions and mass media of the region. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the public and the media regarding the priorities of the EU delegation in Ukraine, a review of opportunities and projects for media and public organizations in Vinnytsia region. The event was held in the framework of the campaign "Building Europe in Ukraine" – a series of outreach activities (street actions, exhibitions, seminars, trainings, round tables) aimed to explain a broad range of citizens the importance of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, dissemination of European values and raising awareness of citizens about the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU. "Ukraine is a priority state for the European Union. We have indeed had a special relationship with her", – said the head of press and information Department of the EU delegation in Ukraine Jurgis VLCCs. "The main thing for Ukraine now is to continue progressive and balanced modernization of all spheres of life of state and society," he added. Also, Jurgis VLCCs in his speech talked about the conflict in Eastern Ukraine, further support and development of small and medium business, the effectiveness of the Executive authorities and local self-government in Ukraine. "It is important for cooperation is the establishment of effective contacts of the EU delegation to Ukraine with the regions, understanding their needs and providing methodological and practical assistance", – said the adviser of the press and information of the EU delegation to Ukraine, Victoria Davydova. According to Victoria Davydova, the emphasis is on the organization of Euroclubs and discussion clubs in Ukraine, in the so-called "career days" and weeks of information for young people, competitions, photos and videos as methods of development of creative abilities and talent of the younger generation of Ukrainians, their application of capacity in public truly European Ukraine. The head of the Bureau "Creative Europe Ukraine" Irina Circuc told the audience about the possibilities of the same program in Ukraine for different sectors of the cultural and creative industries of our state, gave practical advice on the participation of representatives of civil society institutions and mass media of the region in tenders announced within the programme and encouraged everyone to active and fruitful cooperation. The West has shown once again the importance of the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union to Ukraine and development of the system of European values in our country.
