In Zhytomyr authorities and the public will learn strategic planning of regions
22 February in Zhytomyr will host a roundtable and a training for representatives of governments, trade unions, public organizations on how regional development and opportunities that contribute to community development. Beginning at 10.00 am. in the hotel "Reikartz" at the castle Square, 5/8. The event is organized by Agency for regional development Vinnytsia region in partnership with Zhytomyr regional state administration with the support of Regional representative Offices of the Foundation. Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and aimed at implementation of the project "the role of the REGIONS IN the FUNCTIONING of a SOCIAL LEGAL STATE". During the training participants, who were selected on a competitive basis will familiarize you with the tools for regional development and development opportunities of communities, issues of strategic planning, as well as a master class on writing project proposals. The training program is structured to most effectively show participants the various aspects of regional development, in particular, presentations, workshops and practical assignments. This project aims to show the advantages and benefits of interaction and cooperation between regions on the example of Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr oblasts with the aim of providing tools for regional development. In addition, it is a good opportunity to present the experience of the functioning of the Agency for regional development Vinnytsia region community in Zhytomyr region. This collaborative project arose in the course of communication of representatives of Zhytomyr region with the regional development Agency in Vinnytsia region. During the discussion, there was interest in the experience of the Vinnytsia region in the implementation of regional policy, in particular, in the experience of creating regional development Agencies.
