Volhynia: the Prosecutor discussed the state of prevention and counteraction in the sphere of suicides among minors.
The Prosecutor's office in Volyn oblast under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prosecutor of the region Yaroslav Kalinskogo held a joint meeting of the heads of Department prevention sector prevention of juvenile of the Main Department of the National police in the region, of the Department of combating cybercrime in the region, representatives of the Department of education, science and youth, services for children of the Volyn state ADMINISTRATION and Volyn regional center of social services for family' * children and young people. The meeting dealt with the state to prevent suicide among minors and non-proliferation in the teenage environment the influence of Internet communities that promote and entice a minor to suicide. Opening the meeting, Yaroslav golinski noted that for Ukraine the problem of suicide – more than relevant. The number of suicides in our country – on the same level with the number of accidents. At the same time, unfortunately, happen and the facts of suicide among children. As is well known to locals from reports in the media, often in such irresponsible behavior of teenagers down through a deadly game on the Internet or through the distribution of specialized literature. The facts of the communication of children in such groups in the world wide web and our region. And to stay away from this problem do not have the right neither the law enforcement nor the teachers, nor the public. Consequently, the Prosecutor's office coordinated the activities of the relevant law enforcement authorities and authorities with the aim of preventing suicide among minors, and also initiated the development of a number of activities aimed at the prevention of suicide attempts of children. The meeting also offered their vision of ways to solve the problem and create an effective mechanism of combating teenage suicide. Condition to prevent suicide among minors and non-proliferation in the teenage environment the influence of Internet communities that promote and entice a minor to suicide, is under special control of the management of Prosecutor's office of area.
