Chernivtsi: the features of a pension for years of service employees of educational,health and social security in 2017

In the Main Department of Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region said that in 2015-2016 there have been some changes concerning the conditions of appointment of such pension. In particular, currently, the pension service granted to employees of education, health and social security after reaching 55 years of age and with the necessary special experience. Consequently, the pension provision of this category of people depends not only on having the necessary experience in corresponding positions, and from a certain age. The Law of Ukraine "On pension provision" provides for a gradual increase in the retirement age to 55 years. So, in 2017 the right to pension for length of service employees have education, health and social welfare, particularly after they reach this age: – 50 years for persons who were born in the period 1 January 1966 to 30 June 1966; – 50 years 6 months – for persons who were born in the period 1 July 1966 to 31 December 1966. As noted above, in addition to reaching a certain age, another condition for realizing the right to pension for length of service is a special experience according to the List of institutions of education, health and social protection and positions, work on which entitles you to a pension for years of service, approved by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 04.11.1993 No. 909. Please note that currently, in particular, provided the application for such a pension by 31.03.2017 the necessary experience on superannuation is at least 26 years. In the case of treatment since 01.04.2017 on 31.03.2018 required specialized experience must be at least 26 years 6 months. Note that regardless of the age pension for years of service granted to employees of education, health and social security, which as of 1 April 2015, have at least 25 years of special experience, either in the period until 1 January 2016 have worked in relevant positions for at least 25 years 6 months. Pension for years of service to workers education, health and social services appointed under condition of dismissal, which entitles you to a pension. In the case of job positions, which gives the right to pension for length of service, pension payment shall be terminated for the entire period of the job, including cases when work in these positions takes place after reaching the retirement age.
