In Lutsk, the Directorate of health'I in the school on project management for representatives of local authorities in Yaremche
20-24 February in Yaremche of Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Association of cities of Ukraine in the framework of USAID project "development of a policy of strengthening local self-government in Ukraine (HEARTBEAT)" was conducted by School on project management for representatives of local authorities. Among participants of the school – representatives of 35 cities participating in the project "Participatory democracy and informed decision-making at the local level in Ukraine" in 2016, ASU was implemented together with the Norwegian Association of local and regional authorities in three key sectors – education, health, social protection of the population. From the Department of health of Lutsk city Council participated in the work received by the Deputy head of the Victor, Gluhmann. In December 2016 pilot cities of the project presented plans for the improved delivery of services to the population, which may be embodied through the implementation of specific projects. The main purpose of the weekly School of project management is to give the participants the skills to prepare project proposals aimed at developing appropriate sector – education, health, social protection, and to teach them to manage project implementation. The School program is the study of the entire project cycle: formulation of the project idea, its implementation in the project proposal, budget planning, project implementation and report on its implementation, as well as familiarization with international and national programmes and funds which support social projects. Following the event, each participant developed a project concept for their community.
