The project is implemented with the support of the regional state administration and financed by the regional budget. The aim of the project is to educate children and their parents to use alternative communication PECs to achieve optimal levels of socialization of children with autism – namely, with the "game store" where you can buy food and goods with the available language. "By implementing this project we want to show parents that there is a system of communication for children with autism and it works", – says the head of the project "Alternative communication for nonverbal children," a representative of the charity Fund "Center for socialization and rehabilitation of children with autism and other disorders "Development" Olesya Samoylenko. "Only by creating appropriate conditions, comprehensively approaching the problem by connecting professionals, it is possible to achieve the maximum result." Using the pax system, the child perceives better information and adapt to life in society", – said the representative of Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" Leonid Zinkovsky. The project will be implemented within 3 months on the basis of the rehabilitation center "Harmony". Recall that Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" was one of 14 winners of the competition to determine the programs developed by institutions of civil society, which provides financial support in 2017 for the expense of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA.
