In Vinnitsa region in January 2017, the average nominal wages of regular workers amounted to more than 5 thousand hryvnias
According to the General statistics office in Vinnytsia region, the number of employees at enterprises, institutions and organizations of the region in January 2017 amounted to 258,4 thousand persons. the Average nominal wage full-time employee in January 2017. was 5097 UAH, which is 1.6 times above the level of the minimum wage (RS 3200). The increase of the average salary in January 2017 compared to December 2016 has occurred in most economic activities: from 16,1% in education to 4.0% in transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities. The decrease in the level of average wages in January 2017 compared to December 2016 has occurred: from 26.7% in public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance to 0.7% in the activities of agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The highest average salary in January was observed in forestry workers and logging, financial and insurance institutions in the field of information and telecommunications, the wage which exceeded the average size for the region's economy is 1.7 and 1.4 times, respectively. Among the industrial activities of high accrual is recorded at the enterprises on manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, where wages exceeded the average for the region is 3.2 and 1.4 times, respectively. However, the least paid in January were workers in the postal and courier activities in the field of creativity, art and entertainment, the amount of gross wages which did not exceed, respectively, 52.9% and 68.2 per cent of the average for economy level scope. Among the regions of the country on the level of wages in January 2017 Vinnytsia region took the 15th place. In two regions of the wage exceeded the average in Ukraine (UAH 6008): Donetsk (6503 UAH) and Kyiv (UAH 6160). First place is held by the capital of Ukraine with an average salary 9292 UAH. Among the 10 areas, workers whose wages were lower than in Vinnitsa, with the lowest wages (4641 UAH) allocated Ternopil oblast.
