Transportation in Chernihiv will monitor specially created parliamentary Commission

Since, according to them, the number of minibuses decreased significantly and it became impossible to get to work or children to school and kindergartens. Commenting on the transportation of citizens on route 25, the carrier Serhiy Vakulenko told that before combining the two routes worked there 28 buses of small capacity, and route 25 serves 20 buses, but average capacity (on weekends – 16 buses). The carrier Vladimir Trump also added that route No. 25 issue is resolved and the buses run on schedule, that is every 15 minutes, and during peak hours – every 6 minutes. However, residents of the district, which serves a route ¹ 25, has denied this information. This was also confirmed by some members of the city Council, during inspections of the buses do go on schedule, and on the following day after inspection of the minibuses can not wait. Despite this, the mayor Vladislav Atroshenko instructed the chief of the Department of transport expedite the implementation of GPS system in public transport to monitor its movement. The head of Department of transport Alexander Belsky assured that by the middle of may all public transport will be connected to the GPS system. At the same plenary meeting, the city Council on 28 February, the deputies approved the decision on creation of temporary parliamentary control Commission for verification of the reasonableness of the cost of travel in urban passenger transport and the observance of the legislation in determining the winners and awarding contracts.
