Inspection of Gosenergonadzor In the Vinnytsia region invites consumers to take measures to reduce electric power consumption

February 15, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 103-R "On adoption of temporary emergency measures on the electricity market" state of emergency in the power sector until March 17, 2017. This order provides for the possibility of different types of emergency response graphs, namely the graphs of the restriction of consumption of electric energy and capacity, schedules of emergency shutdowns of consumers of electric energy, as well as charts of hourly power outage. To prevent the occurrence of unbalance between consumption and generation of electric power, avoidance of the introduction of the emergency schedules, inspection of Gosenergonadzor in the Vinnytsia region offers to the consumers of electric energy – subjects of managing to adhere to brought electricity supplier, modes of consumption of electric energy and capacity, to take measures to reduce the consumption of electric power per hour morning and evening peaks, as well as to consider the possibility of transfer payments for electric energy with zone rates (with transfer electrical loads during night period). Main ways of regulation of energy consumption in industrial plants are: 1) the transfer of consumption to weekends and night time (is most effective); 2) the introduction of the second and third shifts (one shift and Donna enterprises); 3) the establishment mesna breaks (in the hours of maximum load of the power system); 4) implementing various time of the beginning and end of shifts of different departments (particularly energy intensive); 5) set different holidays for different departments (particularly energy intensive); 6) the redistribution in time (during the day) of individual energy-intensive processes; 7) review of the mode of operation of energy consuming equipment (refrigeration installations, air conditioning systems, heat shields, animations, outdoor advertising, lighting and so forth) to reduce their power consumption during peak hours of the day, namely from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 17 to 21 hours; 8) use of energy saving equipment and technologies. In addition on appeals to domestic consumers (population) with a maximum understanding of this situation and continue to take measures aimed at reducing the load of the power system and provides tips for self-reduction of electricity consumption, which not only allows to ensure stable operation of the entire power system of Ukraine, and the opportunity to reduce costs for electricity: - always turn off the light, leaving permanently from the premises. When leaving the house switch off from the mains all appliances except the refrigerator. Even if you have a TV or PC latest models, then a month in standby mode they consume, respectively, from 0.2 kW to 3.6 kW per month, and older models - several times more. - replace incandescent light bulbs to energy saving. They not only allow you to save on electricity consumption, but are 5-8 times longer service life. - correctly use the kettle. It has electric power 2 to 3 kW. To save electricity, follow simple rules: boil as much water as you need at the moment, and promptly remove limescale in the kettle. - load the washing machine according to the instructions. Too much or too little the download does not allow economical use of electricity. The excess power can be up to 30%. - set the computer power saving mode, in which you can save up to 50% of electricity. All computers manufactured today support this feature. - use day and night electricity tariff. Thus, you will be able to heat the boiler, to include a warm floor or washing machine at night when electricity can pay 50% less. This was reported in the Vinnytsia regional state administration
