Guardian of order twice during the month of November 2016 - February 2017 demanded and received from the citizen illegal benefit for total amount nearly 6,5 thousand UAH. for unrestricted movement on the customs territory of Ukraine temporarily imported vehicles with foreign registration mode "transit". Customs revealed at the place of work immediately after receipt of unlawful benefit in the amount of $ 180. The actions of law enforcement officers qualified under part 3 St. 368 Criminal code of Ukraine. Continues pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings conducted complex investigative actions aimed at establishing other episodes of illegal activities of the suspect and possible similar criminal acts of other employees of the customs post. Reference: sanction of part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from 5 till 10 years with confiscation of property and with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years.
