Citizens honored the memory of Taras Shevchenko
In connection with the celebration of the 203rd anniversary from the birthday of outstanding Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and the 156th anniversary of his death, the city held a series of events. In particular, 9 March 2017 will be held such events: - 11.00 — action "Come with his "Kobzar"; - 12.00 — flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Taras Shevchenko on Liberty Avenue, the art action "We are United Dumy kobzarya"; - 13.00 — theme song “Our thought, our song will not die, not die...” (Volyn regional academic Ukrainian musical drama theatre). On March 10, 2017 at 12:00 there will be a memorial service and laying flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko on Liberty Avenue. In the urban institutions of education and culture will hold themed events, dedicated to the personality of Taras Shevchenko. We invite residents to join in honoring the blessed memory of the immortal genius and prophet of the Ukrainian people Taras Shevchenko.
