Monday, March 9, in the press center of the Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration I took place a press-conference of the public organization "Vinnytsia regional Association of endocrinologists" in the presentation of the project "Training centre". The project is to establish a special training center on the basis of Vinnytsia oblast clinical highly specialized endocrinological center in order to reduce the level of abnormalities of the endocrine system, metabolic disorders, eating disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity and a number of groups of orphan (rare) diseases. "Project "Training centre", which is implemented with the direct support of the regional state administration and is financed by funds of the regional budget is extremely urgent not only for our region but for the nation as a whole", – said the Deputy Director of Department of information activities and public relations of the regional state administration Volodymyr Lazarenko. "The centre will be based on an integrated approach to the prevention and treatment of diabetes. It will unite the efforts of endocrinologist, nurses, nutritionist, psychologist and even a lawyer to conduct appropriate exercises and advice. Also very important is the involvement of family in patients with diabetes mellitus preventive measures", – says the chief doctor of the Vinnytsia oblast clinical highly specialized endocrinological centre and President of Vinnitsa regional Association of endocrinologists" Philip Prudius. To the project as volunteers will join the students of Vinnitsa national medical University. M. I. Pirogov, who will teach diabetics the basics of prevention and treatment of disease and at the same time to obtain practical knowledge and skills. Recall that the NGO "Vinnytsia regional Association of endocrinologists" was one of 14 winners of the competition to determine the programs developed by institutions of civil society, which provides financial support in 2017 for the expense of the regional budget, which is traditionally held every year by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA.
