In the conference hall of the regional state administration held a solemn meeting of the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cows with volunteers from the region in celebration of the first anniversary of Ukrainian volunteers, who will be traditionally celebrated annually on March 14. Recall that the Ukrainian volunteer Day is celebrated according to the decree of the Supreme Council of Ukraine of January 17, 2017 No. 1822-VIII "On establishing the Day of Ukrainian volunteers", with the purpose of honoring the courage and heroism of defenders of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, promoting further strengthening of Patriotic spirit in society, increased public attention and concern about the members of the volunteer forces. "I am convinced that all the challenges that have befallen our Ukrainian state in the last years, Ukraine will stand and be strong. The main task of government is to maintain stability in the country and to do everything possible in order to move forward," – noted the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow. "History of the Ukrainian people proves that the Ukrainians deserve to be independent and unique country, and we all need to make every effort for this", – says the Chairman of regional Council Anatoly Oleinik. On the occasion of the celebration of the Day in Vinnytsia oblast of the Ukrainian volunteer leadership of the region marked by the 33 volunteer honorary diplomas of the regional state administration and regional Council, cash awards and flowers. Following the official part of the meeting the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow and the Chairman of regional Council Anatoly Oleinik communicated with guest to address the socio-economic and other topical issues of Ukrainian servicemen participating in the antiterrorist operation on the territory temporarily occupied Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as members of their families.
