Chernivtsi: by increasing the minimal salary increased revenues to the Pension Fund
raising the minimum wage from 1 January 2017 up to 3200 UAH is an important step in leading the economy out of the shadows. Despite the criticism, which came from the opponents of such a decision, the main indicators have confirmed the effectiveness of the adopted amendments. Since the beginning of the year, the payroll increased by 57.2%, and receipt of a single fee for obligatory state social insurance – 48 %, and this, as you know, additional revenues to the budget of the Pension Fund. Under condition of preservation of growth of revenues of the Pension Fund, which were observed during the first two months of 2017 as a result of increasing size of the minimal salary, in the future it will be possible to direct this resource to strengthen protection of pensioners – increased pensions by modernizing.
