Convicted driver who made a fatal traffic accident in Vinnytsia
Vinnytsia local Prosecutor's office are performed procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of fatal road accidents that took place in Vinnitsa. Pre-trial investigation found that 30.05.2016 the driver of the motorcycle “Viper”, driving on the roadway of the street Pirogov in Vinnitsa, approaching the intersection of V. Stus with a significant excess of permitted driving speed, not reduced it and have not missed a pedestrian who was 17-year old student, whereby I allowed arrival on the latter. From the received traumas the young girl died in the hospital. The actions of the motorcycle driver is qualified under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, ie violation of the rules of traffic safety or transport operation by the person which manages a vehicle, which resulted in the death of the victim. According to the results of pretrial investigations the indictment the proceedings are sent to the Vinnitsa city court for consideration on the merits. At the principled position of the state charge Vinnitsa city court 15.03.2017 “Woe–driver” has been found guilty of committing the above offenses. He was sentenced to the p’ - five years of imprisonment and taken into custody in the courtroom.
