16 March, under the leadership of Deputy Chairman - Director of the Department of education and science of the regional state administration Igor's center was held the meeting of the Regional group on introduction of digital television in Vinnytsia region. Discussed pressing issues and prospects of development of digital television broadcasting the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting. In the beginning of the meeting Igor Ivasyuk said: "the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 30 June 2017 is defined as the date of discontinuing analogue television, which must come digital. Digital transmitters are working in the region since 2012, they are located in the five settlements of Vinnytsia: Vinnytsia, Balanivka Bershad district, Yampol, Pogrebische, and the vladimirets Sharhorod district. Digital network consists of 32 channels that you can watch by connecting to my TV set a special prefix tuner". One of the main problems of transition to digital broadcasting Igor Ivasyuk said insufficient number of tuners in the population. The second important problem the participants identified the incomplete territory coverage area of the digital signal. If analog television provides coverage of up to 99% of the territory, the digital – no more than 65-67%. It is completely deprived of the opportunity to watch the digital channels residents of Mogilev-Podolsky and the number of settlements in the South of the region, significant problems with this have people Tulchin, Ilinskoe locals and Kazatin. The meeting therefore agreed on the opinion that first and foremost you should decide on the subject of providing the population with digital consoles, as well as proposed a number of measures to expand the area of coverage with digital signals.
