In the Volyn region entered into force the verdict to the judge-corrupt
court of Appeal of the Rivne region, the bailiff for the position of Prosecutor's office of Volyn region, dismissed an appeal by the defense and upheld the verdict Malinovskogo district court of 25 April 2016, which convicted and sentenced under part 2 of article 368 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (in the wording in force at the time of the offence), the judge of the district court of Kivertsy of Volyn region. Prosecutors proved in court that the judge in June 2010 received illegal benefit in the sum of 3500 UAH. for the adoption of the "correct" judgment in a civil case which he was considering. Judge sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment with punishment departure in a penal institution, deprivation of rights to occupy positions of judge and posts, floor’connected with performance organizationally-administrative functions in state institutions for a period of 3 years and with confiscation of 1/6 (one sixth) of the property owned by a convicted person.
